1. Who we are

Practice Proactive High Performance Management LTD ("we", "us"), trading as PraXis Realty, operates PraXis Realty OS, a verified rental marketplace. For the personal data we collect about you when you use the Service, we act as the data controller.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number, password (hashed), role (tenant / landlord).
  • Tenant verification ("passport") data: identification numbers (e.g. NIN, BVN), employer, income range, proof of address, bank statements.
  • Landlord verification data: ID documents, ownership documents, business details.
  • Listings & content: property details, photographs, descriptions, messages exchanged through the Service.
  • Transaction metadata: applications, viewing requests, lease milestones, subscription status.
  • Usage & device data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages visited, search queries, behavioural signals used to rank and personalise the Service.

3. Why we use it (purposes & legal bases)

  • To create your account and provide the Service — contract performance.
  • To verify identity and reduce fraud risk for both sides of the marketplace — legitimate interests and, where required, legal obligation.
  • To rank, match, and personalise listings — legitimate interests.
  • To provide customer support — contract performance / legitimate interests.
  • To send service-related and (with consent, where required) marketing communications — consent / legitimate interests.
  • To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations — legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

  • Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database, analytics, email delivery, support tooling.
  • Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record for the sale of subscriptions and platform fees — for payment processing, subscription management, invoicing, and tax compliance.
  • Other marketplace participants: when you submit an application, request a viewing, or engage with a listing, the relevant details are shared with the other side of that transaction (tenant ↔ landlord).
  • Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and audit firms acting under confidentiality.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PraXis, our users, or the public.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with our legal and tax obligations, and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Service.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and database-level row-level security — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (authentication, session) and limited analytics to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Paddle) are located outside Nigeria. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions where applicable.
